Appian portals, what for?
Appian portals is a new service that takes advantage of all the benefits of low code to build websites connected to an application and thus allow end-users to interact with the applications. This will require the Appian platform to be linked to a public interface as a standalone serverless web application that will be seen by the user, and to a data source that stores the client's information, and provides isolation and scalability.
End-users will benefit from uploading and downloading files, while the interface will be adapted according to the demand of these users. Importantly, the developer can design, publish and manage portals through the Portal Publishing Manager, which supports a variety of user interface components, expressions, and rules.
This paid service is accessible to cloud users from version 22.1 onwards, and it is also possible to have first experiences of the service with the Appian Portals Community edition trial versions.
